About Our Community

The Wayfarer's Refuge is a newly founded community born from frustration with the harsh and sometimes hypocritical enforcement of "non-toxic" policies in our previous community. We wanted a true safe haven, where players genuinely care about each other and about building each other up. Where no one is afraid to say, "Hey, I need a break," without fearing judgment or backlash.

Here's what we offer:

• No Toxicity, No Drama: Our community is about supporting each other. Mistakes happen, keys are depleted, and that's okay. We're here to learn and grow together, not point fingers.
• Understanding, Kindness, and Teamwork: We believe Mythic+ should be fun. If you need to step away, or if a run isn't going as planned, we get it. We're more interested in making friends than climbing ladders at any cost.
• Group of Friends, Not Just Players: Our members are encouraged to talk, to be themselves, and to share laughs, frustrations, and victories—whether it's about WoW or just life in general. The only goal is to enjoy the game and improve at our own pace, together.

We are not alone in this journey. We have reached out to several existing communities, such as No Pressure in the EU and Drunk N Disorderly, a raid community, to help make Mythic+ a better experience for everyone.

If you're a friendly player who wants to push keys without the stress, or if you're tired of the toxicity that's seeped into Mythic+, we'd love to welcome you. You don't have to be a seasoned veteran or have a perfect Raider.io score. We care far more about who you are than what you've done.
